Welcome to Culture Snap Photography,
Culture Snap offers vibrant images from the roads of Toronto to rural Tanzania as taken by me - Toronto documentary photographer Henry VanderSpek. Please click here to see some of my favourite photo moments of 2015.
If you are looking for someone to show the best of your special event, reveal your organizational mission in images and words, or document your non-profit work in Canada or overseas, look no further. I have over eight years of experience capturing digital images, and many more shooting with film. You are welcome to read my bio, words from recent clients, and/or view a selection of my published images. After doing so, send me an email and I'd be happy to discuss possibilities.
I have been exhibiting and selling my best art images at art fairs around Toronto since 2012 and look forward o doing so again in 2016. I am excited that I can now offer prints of my images directly via a great Canadian photo lab, Pikto. I am starting this with my best square images, and will offer other sized images later in 2016. Please have a look!
I am happy to share a recent event that I shot - the final giveaway of turkeys at Honest Ed's - a favourite Toronto store that will close at the end of 2016 after 67 years in business. Honest Ed's will be dearly missed.
My heartfelt thanks to Vistek for their support of my work in Uganda with Photographers Without Borders by showing my images in each of their Canadian stores. The galleries finished in early 2015, but if you'd like to learn more about my work please visit this Vistek Q&A here.
