Welcome to Culture Snap Photography,

Culture Snap offers vibrant images from the roads of Toronto to rural Tanzania as taken by me - Toronto documentary photographer Henry VanderSpek.

Many thanks to all who came out to the Danforth East Arts Fair on September 16 & 17 2023! I had such a fun time meeting so many people. The response to my art was very encouraging also! Thanks to the Danforth East Community Association and all the volunteers who made it happen!

I am excited to have a new exhibit on display now in the Don Mills Library (888 Lawrence Avenue East). GO WIDE: Wide Angle Views of Toronto is on exhibit from Oct 3-30. Drop by, see the exhibit, and say hello to one of the very friendly staff at the library!

Many thanks to the members of the Don Mills Camera Club who had me in to give a talk on Thursday October 12th! My talk was titled "A Pilgrimage of the Street: Finding Meaning and Making Art on the Streets of Toronto". I had a great time being with everyone there! If you are looking for someone to show the best of your special event, reveal your organizational mission in images and words, or document your non-profit work in Canada or overseas, look no further. I have over ten years experience capturing digital images, and many more shooting with film. You are welcome to read my bio, my year in review blog posts, words from past clients, and/or view a selection of my published images. After doing so, send me an email and I'd be happy to discuss possibilities.
