Water is so vital and such a challenge to access in so many parts of the world. This album shows a selection of moments in Rwanda and Tanzania the journey to access and transport water. (This photo was taken in Rwanda).

A colleague overheard these girls talking, and learned they walked several kilometres to this well - instead of their own local one - because they heard some mzungus (white people!) were here. We were stunned or surprised by this news and enchanted by the precious friendship the two shared.
